Alloy Wheel Repairs
Most cracked and buckled alloy wheels can be repaired.
Cracks and buckles are usually the result of hitting potholes, kerbs and bumps in uneven road surfaces.
Cracks are often mistaken for tyre punctures as the air escapes through the cracked rim.
Cracks are repaired by removing the paint and cleaning out the debris before drilling out the crack. The rim is then pre- heated and tig welded before final reshaping of the rim takes place.
